Jack and Dani met by happenstance in Denver, Colorado in April, 2015.
In November, 2016 Jack proposed on a roof deck in downtown Denver much to Dani's surprise. He had been in Washington for survival training while Dani was working in Denver. He arrived a couple of days earlier than she expected and was waiting for her as she came to the building for a work project. Needless to say, much happiness and cheer was experienced!
